NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE: HIS POWER WITHIN US

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE

Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP)
Now to him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. [SO BE IT!]

SCRIPTURE FOCUS FOR TODAY

Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP)
…according to His power that is at work within us,

 

COMMENT
As the apostle Paul says, “He can do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think…infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams! God is powerful beyond measure. The next part of this verse is exciting though. He says that God does this according to His power that is at work within us. What does this mean? It means that God doesn’t want to do all the work without involvement from us. He wants us to exercise the authority he has given us and to act and use His power on his behalf. How incredible is that?

Gods’ power works on the inside of us, making us more like Jesus. He uses the challenges of life to change us from the inside out. His power enables us to do things that are impossible in our own strength and it sustains us when we go through trials. The incredible thing is that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living in us, ready to help us take on any challenge. Whatever task or problem comes our way, God has promised that the power of His Spirit inside us is more than enough to help us come through it strong. He has equipped us with everything we need to live victoriously and to partner with him in fulfilling his plans on planet Earth….how amazing is our God. His transformational power always brings glory to Him, it’s not so much about us but it is all about Him and what he has done and continues to do in and through us.
