COMMENT
The ultimate goal of our growth in Christ is to become a multiplier. It is such a rewarding journey to realise that it isn't enough to just grow in our own faith because we are actually called to help others blossom in theirs as well. While it is easy to stay in a season where we are always looking to be fed spiritual maturity invites us to become spiritual parents. This is the beautiful process of walking beside someone else and helping them learn the foundations of the faith until they are strong and confident enough to lead others too.
Disciple making is a calling that belongs to every single believer. When you take the lessons you have learned and share them with another you ensure that the message of the Gospel continues to spread and flourish. Maturity is moving from being a helper to becoming a purposeful disciple maker. As we approach the end of this journey in Boot Camp 2026 it is a wonderful time to ask who you might be able to walk with next. The greatest legacy you can ever leave is not a list of your own achievements but the people you have helped to follow Jesus with all their hearts.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BECOME A MULTIPLIER
Deepened Understanding: There is no better way to learn than by teaching. As you help someone else understand God's Word your own foundation becomes even more solid and clear.
Eternal Legacy: You begin to see your influence stretch far beyond your own life. You are planting seeds in others that will continue to grow and produce fruit for generations to come.
Kingdom Fulfilment: You experience the unique joy that comes from seeing a spiritual child overcome a struggle or step into their own calling. It is one of the most fulfilling experiences in the Christian walk.
Authentic Accountability: When you are mentoring someone else it naturally encourages you to keep your own walk with God fresh and vibrant. You are leading by example which keeps your heart focused and pure.
A Stronger Church: As everyone takes on the heart of a multiplier the church becomes a healthy self sustaining family where everyone is cared for and everyone is growing.
THE REPRODUCTION TEST (Disciple Making)
Pick the number that best describes where you feel you’re at right now. Whereever you are, pray about what might be your next step to move forward.
Passive and Consumer: I am always glad when people decide to follow Jesus but I don't yet see it as my personal responsibility to walk with them through their new faith.
Helper: I am more than happy to offer advice or a kind word if someone asks me a question but I do not currently have a regular rhythm of intentionally mentoring others.
Intentional and Emerging Mentor: I am starting to intentionally invest my time into at least one person helping them navigate their faith and understand what it means to follow Christ.
Spiritual Parent and Disciple Maker: I see myself as a multiplier. I regularly walk with people and help them grow until they are stable and confident enough to lead and mentor others themselves.
MAIN QUESTIONS
(Self Reflection)
Let’s Talk in the Chat
(on the Boot Camp group in Planning Center)One of the best parts of this journey is that we aren’t doing it alone. We’d love for our chat to be a place of real connection. As you go through each day, please jump in and share:
God’s Voice: What is one specific thing you feel the Holy Spirit is whispering to your heart?
Self-Reflection: What did the "test" reveal to you today?
The Wins: Did you do one of the action points? Tell us about it!
Testimony: Share a time when you shared something spiritual with someone newer in the faith and how it impacted them.
Please Read:
Don't worry about sounding 'spiritual' The most encouraging thing you can share is your honest process. This is a self-reflection about what God is speaking directly to you about in YOUR life. Words like “I” and “Me” are encouraged, “we” and “us” less so.
ACTION POINTS
The "Who" Question: Take a quiet moment today to ask God to show you one person who is newer in the faith that you could reach out to and encourage once a month.
Share the Journey: Reach out to a friend or a teammate today and tell them one specific thing you have learned or realised during this twenty one day journey.
The Legacy Goal: Write down one simple legacy goal. One way you can help someone else grow in their relationship with God over the next six months.
PERSONAL PRAYER STARTER
"Lord, thank You so much for the people who took the time to pour their lives and Your truth into me. Help me to have that same heart for someone else. I want to be a multiplier for Your Kingdom and leave a legacy of love. Amen."
