THE POWER OF YOUR DECISIONS
SCRIPTURE PASSAGES
Proverbs 3:5-6

COMMENT
Most of us are naturally capable of using logic and seeking advice to map out our lives. It’s easy to make a choice first and then invite God in afterward to "sign off" on a path we’ve already started. But spiritual maturity is the beautiful realisation that even our best logic is limited compared to the limitless wisdom of the Father. We are invited into a partnership where we never have to make an important decision alone.
When Jesus is truly supreme, we stop making independent moves and start finding joy inviting Him into our decisions. Maturity is the rewarding practice of learning to wait for His peace before moving forward. There is such freedom in starting with a blank page and asking, "Lord, what do You want me to do today?" His presence is never out of reach, we can return to this connection at any point. No matter how busy we’ve been, the moment we turn back to Him for guidance, He is right there.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DECIDE WITH HIM
Internal Rest: Even with a chaotic schedule, your soul is quiet because you know you are moving in His timing, not your own.
Instant Guidance: The "distance" between you and God's voice disappears. You receive subtle nudges and wisdom in real-time because you are already listening.
Sustained Joy: Your happiness isn't a roller coaster based on your performance; it comes from the presence of the Person guiding you.
Shifted Perspective: Problems that used to feel giant-sized start to look small when you view them through the lens of His power and wisdom.

1. The Pause: Before you buy anything today, stop and ask, "Lord, is this a good use of Your money?"
2. Wait for Peace: If you have a decision today, don't rush. Tell God you will wait until you feel His peace.
3. Scripture Search: Find one verse that relates to a choice you are currently facing and write it down.
