— WELCOME TO LEADERSHIP BOOT CAMP —
Welcome! We are incredibly expectant for what God is going to do in your life and in our church over the next 14 days.
As leaders, we are about to step into a season of expanded capacity, greater responsibility, and new spiritual ground. But before God builds the size of our church, He always grows His leaders. Over the next two weeks, we are going to look closely at the life of Moses and those around him. Moses went from a self-reliant, reactionary adopted Egyptian prince to the most humble, burdened, and faithful leader in the Old Testament. He learned how to relate to God, how to relate to authority, and how to carry the massive burden of the people.
WHAT GOD IS GOING TO DO God is preparing us for a profound harvest!
This boot camp is not just about learning leadership techniques, it’s about deep spiritual formation. When you allow God to do the necessary, sometimes uncomfortable work of refining your character, you become a vessel He can trust with greater influence.
As you commit to this 14-day process, expect God to break old limitations, heal hidden offenses, and ignite a fresh, unified passion for His house. He is going to increase your spiritual capacity from the inside out. He is expanding your shoulders so that, together as a unified team, we can carry the incredible weight of the growth, blessing, and impact He is about to bring to our church. Your "yes" to this process will make room for the miraculous.
YOUR PRE-READING ASSIGNMENT
Before you start Day 1, we are asking everyone to take 15 minutes to read three specific passages of Scripture:
Exodus 17;
Exodus 18, and;
Numbers 12.
These chapters contain some incredible truths concerning biblical leadership. As you read them, don't just read them as ancient history, read them through the lens of your own leadership journey. In these passages, you are going to see:
· The Support: How true leaders physically and spiritually hold up the arms of the visionary.
· The Structure: How Jethro proposes a brilliant system of delegated accountability.
· The Rebellion: How familiarity and jealousy can cause an inner circle to silently drift.
· The Defence: What happens when a leader chooses humility instead of fighting for their own ego.
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HEART
1. Read it in a modern translation: (Like the NLT or NIV) so the story comes alive.
2. Ask God to search your heart: As you see the Israelites complain, or Miriam and Aaron rebel, or Moses hit the point of burnout, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of pride, exhaustion, or self-reliance in your own life.
3. Get ready to lean in: We are doing this together. The strength of this journey will be found in our honesty, our repentance, and our shared commitment to carrying the vision God has given us.
Take 15 minutes today, grab your Bible, and dive in. We can't wait to start Day 1 with you!
ENJOY THE JOURNEY!
